Breast augmentation in a 32-year-old woman who wanted to achieve a fuller breast with a natural result. For this, we used anatomical Mentor prostheses of 295 cc.
What I found
A 33-year-old woman with small breasts and a high inframammary fold, with a short lower pole.
What did I do?
Breast augmentation with 295cc anatomical implants in the subpectoral position, following our standard 24-hour recovery protocol. I lowered the inframammary fold and secured the implant with an internal bra.
Why anatomical
The anatomical implant has a long arch on its underside, which allows it to lower the sulcus and expand the lower pole, as in this case. However, when the sulcus is lowered so much, internal support is essential: without it, the implant can continue to descend over time.
what to watch
The lower pole: short before, full and rounded after. And the position of the sulcus, lower and well defined.
