High radix structural rhinoplasty in thick, oily skin: before and after

Structural rhinoplasty with high radix reduction
This patient presented, in profile, a very high radix (beginning of the nasal root).
We performed a structural resection of the back using ultrasound, along with a reconstruction of the roof using spreader grafts, which allowed us to lower the height of the back in its entirety, including the radix.
We then improved the tip, which was covered by skin that was not particularly favorable due to its thickness and sebaceous activity. Despite this, thanks to the septal extension graft, we achieved good definition and good valve function.
Here we tell you how we perform rhinoplasty , from the first consultation to the follow-up appointments.
