Blepharoplasty and eyebrow lift
Case fact sheet
- Intervention: Fakih-type direct eyebrow lift, with upper and lower blepharoplasty
- Lower eyelid: transconjunctival approach, without skin scarring
- Eyebrows: A direct brow lift raises the eyebrow with an incision along its upper edge. It is the technique that provides the most lift and best corrects drooping of the brow tail.
- About the scar: This patient subsequently underwent eyebrow microblading, which is a very effective strategy for camouflaging both eyebrow alopecia and the direct facelift scar.
- Surgeon: Dr. Gustavo Sordo
Direct eyebrow lifting is primarily reserved for men with sparse, drooping eyebrows, where an endoscopic approach doesn't provide sufficient lift. The downside is the scar above the eyebrow, which can be concealed with the eyebrow hair itself or, as in this case, with micropigmentation.
